The Meniscus Suture System is a medical device used for repairing meniscus injuries, widely applied in surgical procedures to address meniscus tears, ruptures, and other damages in the knee joint. When a meniscus tear occurs, the Meniscus Repair Device can repair the injury through minimally invasive techniques, restoring knee joint function.
Meniscus Suture Instrument Features:
- Simple and convenient operation: Equipped with an ergonomic handheld grip, allowing for easier one-handed operation;
- Adjustable depth limiter: The depth limiter can be adjusted according to actual needs, providing better protection for blood vessels and nerves;
- Multiple angle options: Available in 0° straight, 15° upward-curved, and -5° downward-curved designs, fully meeting the repair needs of different meniscus regions;
- Minimally invasive and reliable suturing: Features micro-implants and ultra-strong sutures, leaving no hard objects on the meniscus surface, achieving minimal trauma and maximum suture strength.

Meniscus Suture System Instructions:
1. Position the tip of the puncture tube needle against the guide plate, and insert the puncture tube, preset to the desired depth, through the meniscus tissue;
2. Keep the puncture tube in place, deploy and release fixation rod T1, then slowly withdraw the puncture tube;
3. Reset the depth, reinsert the puncture tube into the meniscus tissue, and maintain its position;
4. Deploy and release fixation rod T2, then slowly withdraw the puncture tube from the meniscus tissue;
5. Pull the tail end of the suture to tighten the sliding knot, and use a knot pusher if necessary for further tightening;
6. Complete the suturing and fixation of the meniscus tear, and trim any excess suture. Depending on the meniscus tear condition, additional meniscus suture systems may be used.
FAQ:
Q1: What is the Meniscal Repair System used for?
A1: It is designed for minimally invasive repair of meniscus tears through percutaneous or endoscopic procedures, providing a secure suture solution while minimizing tissue damage.
Q2: How does the adjustable limiter tube enhance safety?
A2: The limiter tube can be adjusted to control penetration depth, reducing the risk of damaging surrounding nerves and blood vessels.
Q3: Is the system suitable for all types of meniscus tears?
A3: The multiple angle options allow flexibility for repairing tears in different regions of the meniscus. However, suitability depends on tear location and severity—consult a surgeon for evaluation.
Q4: What are the advantages of the ergonomic handle?
A4: The handle is designed for comfortable one-handed operation, improving control and reducing fatigue during surgery.
Q5: Does the system leave hardware on the meniscus surface?
A5: No. The system uses mini implants and sutures that avoid leaving rigid hardware on the meniscus surface, reducing irritation and promoting natural healing.
